 We are what is becoming a lost art restaurant. Meaning that in this age of prefabricated concepts, ideas of what restaurants are and what they should be are beamed at us with a vengeance through any media that can be bought. What they have become are corporate clones of one another. They are massive marketing machines that cash in on their concepts and ideas of what a restaurant is and should be. Heavily marketed media machines that produce nice looking places with very very average cuisine at best. Fabricated back stories and hyped up salesmanship. They do an excellent job at marketing there is no denying this. BUT what happened to the QUALITY?? Where is that these days? It is getting to a point that they are teaching us that texture and robotic customer service is the only thing we need to experience. More concerned about the up sell over whatever else.
  Holidays Greek/Italian Restaurant aka HGIR opened back in 1991. Our number one commitment is the FOOD! crazy I know, this is how we still believe to this day. We believe that if you have a superior product all the other stuff goes back into perspective. Cuisine FIRST and then all the other aspects of what makes a great restaurant experience naturally falls into place. We do not want to prepare your experience for you by mass media marketing with fake family scenarios and commercialized situations of happy gatherings. We want you to come and create your own true real life experience anchored around our Kitchen. Then into your hearts and memories not some commercial on television or on the web etc.
  We have been throwing around the idea of getting great people to carry on the tradition that we have built over the years. Dating back to when Dad was selling Ice cream on the streets of New York to the present time. A story that will be revealed, so keep your eyes and ears peeled. Some of you may know it already. After all The article is in the welcoming room just as you walk in, on the wall. We MAY bring HGIR to have more locations one day BUT we will NEVER lose the focus as to what we are about OUR KITCHEN and what goes into and comes out of it. We do not claim to be perfect but strive for the BEST. We will make sure our guests and friends have the best experience possible....THEIR OWN! OPA! KALI OREXI!!  MOM AND POP SHOPS FOREVER!!
